Trump says, 'we should just cancel the election and just give it to Trump, right'!
Trump: Cancel the election and declare me the winner, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJQzFGnufv4, 45 secs, published on Oct. 27th 2016 by CNN. The description says, "Speaking at a campaign rally in Toledo, Ohio, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump quipped that the election should be canceled and he should be declared the winner."
Given below is a transcript of the above video.
Mr. Donald Trump: As part of our plan to bring back American jobs we will lower taxes on our businesses from 35% down to 15%. We will go from the highest to among the lowest. Hillary Clinton wants to raise taxes on small businesses upto 45%.
What a difference! You know, what a difference, this is!
[In/I'm] just thinking to myself right now, we should just cancel the election and just give it to Trump, right? [Audience seems to say yes/yeah.]
What do we even have to [vote?] What do we [??]
Her policies are so bad. Boy, do we have a big difference!
Hillary also says she wants to put coal miners out of work. Not going to happen.

Here's an article on it, Trump: 'We should just cancel the election' and declare me the winner, http://edition.cnn.com/2016/10/27/politics/donald-trump-cancel-election/, Oct. 28th 2016
Ravi: I find the 'cancel the election' and give it to Trump comment very disturbing. In my considered view, such words should NOT be said even in jest by a major party nominee for a top political office of a democratic country, even in a private meeting let alone a public campaign rally. And given that Mr. Trump has already alleged publicly that this USA election is rigged (against him), such remarks from him become even more disturbing. Perhaps Mr. Trump said that only to draw some media attention and was not serious about it. Hopefully his supporters will also not take such words seriously.
Please note that I have a PUBLICLY NEUTRAL informal-student-observer role in these posts that I put up about the USA presidential elections. Of course, as I am an Indian citizen living in India, there is no question of me voting in these elections.
[I thank Mr. Donald Trump and his campaign for USA president, and have presumed that they will not have any objections to me sharing the above short transcript from the above mentioned video, on this post which is freely viewable by all, and does not have any financial profit motive whatsoever.]
