The above report mentions that King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia telephoned their condolences to a son of Jamal Khashoggi. The son reportedly thanked the king and expressed "sincere gratitude" to Prince Mohammad for the condolence calls.

Ravi: It is good to know about this condolence being expressed by the rulers of Saudi Arabia, who are the custodians of Mecca and Medina - the two holiest sites of Islam, a major world religion.

My prayers to God/Allah for peace and healing in this tragic and horrific murder of Saudi dissident writer, Jamal Khashoggi.

Exclusive: Saudi foreign minister on Khashoggi investigation, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S-DeMUMemY, around 11 mins published on 21st Oct. 2018 by Fox News.

The Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adel_al-Jubeir, is a former Saudi Ambassador to USA and speaks fluent English. He did his B.A. and M.A. from US universities. He says towards the end of this interview on the Khashoggi tragic and horrific killing, about what will happen when the (Saudi) investigation is over. He says that facts will be revealed, people will know who is responsible and see that procedures are put in place to prevent it (such horrific killings of journalists) from happening.

The Saudi Foreign Minister also expressed his condolences to the Khashoggi family and said that a huge and grave mistake had been made.

Ravi: I think this is a good development. In particular, I think it will be wonderful if Saudi Arabian government puts in place procedures to ensure that never again will a journalist be murdered by Saudi government officials, like what happened in the tragic and horrific murder of Jamal Khashoggi who was a columnist for the Washington Post, USA.
