Secret service whisk away Donald Trump at Nevada rally due to security scare from a false alarm
My God! How tense the USA presidential election campaign can become!!! Just 3 days from election day (Nov. 8th 2016), there was an incident at a Reno, Nevada rally of Donald Trump on Nov. 5th. A rally participant, Austyn Crites, who turned out to be a protester, was positioned in a few rows from the front row of the rally almost directly in front of Trump. He is alleged to have reached into his waistband at which time somebody around him shouted that (he has a) gun (which turned out to be FALSE). This shout having the word, 'gun', seems to have triggered USA secret service agents into action who whisked Mr. Trump away from the stage, with another set of security officers rushing towards the protester. Meanwhile the protester seemed to have been brought down to the floor by rally participants around him. The security officers took over, ensured that he was not armed and then took him away from the rally hall. A little while later Mr. Trump re-emerged onto the stage, thanked the USA secret service agents for being 'fantastic', and resumed his speech.
The protester, Austyn Crites, was later released from custody.

The above report quotes Crites saying to another media outlet, KTNV, "All of a sudden, because they couldn't grab the sign, or whatever happened, bam, I get tackled by all these people who were just, like, kicking me and grabbing me in the crotch and just, just beating the crap out of me". "And somebody yells something about a gun, and so that's when things really got out of hand."
Ravi: I believe people go through a security check before they are let in to the rally hall for rallies involving the two major USA political party nominees for president. But even then if somebody shouts 'gun' five to ten rows in the front rows of the rally, naturally there will be a serious security scare.
My God! This is scary stuff. I am so glad that it turned out to be a false alarm. I pray to Almighty God that this USA election is conducted peacefully (without violence), especially without any violence towards the presidential candidates.
