Nice Hindi couplet about victory and defeat. It was said recently by an outgoing CM (Chief Minister) of an Indian state who was CM for 13 years (from 2005) and is reportedly from a poem by Shiv Mangal Singh (Suman).
Hindi: Kya haar mein, kya jeet mein, kinchit nahin bhaybhit main, kartavya path par jo bhi mila, yeh bhi sahi woh bhi sahi
My rough English translation: Whether it is in victory or whether it is in defeat, not scared in the least am I; Whatever is got in the path of duty, this (good) is also fine, that (bad) is also fine.
