Iranian General tells Pakistan govt. that they have caused unrest along borders with all its neighbours and asks where they are heading to
Iran threatens action against Pakistan-based terrorist groups, https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/middle-east/iran-threatens-action-against-pakistan-based-terrorist-groups/articleshow/68248206.cms, 4th March 2019
I think this article has some significant remarks from Iranian military leaders about Pakistan being a hub for terror.
A powerful General of the Iranian military is quoted as saying:
I have this question for the Pakistani government: where are you heading to? You have caused unrest along borders with all your neighbours and do you have any other neighbour left that you want to stir insecurity for.
...
Are you, who have atomic bombs, unable to destroy a terrorist group with several hundred members in the region?
--- end quotes ---
The background to this is that Iran claims that suicide bomber(s) from Pakistan have been behind some terror attack(s) in Iran.
The article also states that Iran and India have increased counter-terrorism cooperation.
Pakistan shares long borders with Iran, Afghanistan and India. It has a short border area in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir with China, and on its southern border it has the Arabian Sea.
The governments in power in Iran, India and Afghanistan have openly and vehemently been critical of Pakistan for harbouring terrorist organizations! Note that Afghanistan has some areas that seem to be in control of the Taliban which opposes the government in power in Kabul.
I think the Iranian General's questions to Pakistan government are very apt. Does its government led by its Prime Minister Imran Khan want to continue the policy of previous governments of Pakistan of harbouring terrorist organizations that carry out terror attacks on its neighbouring countries of Iran, Afghanistan and India? Is that how a responsible and brave country operates?
China may not have so far faced terror attacks from Pakistan based groups. But it may be just a matter of time for that to happen if Pakistan government continues its current policy of harbouring terror organizations. China's Xinjiang province borders Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xinjiang, and has a lot of Muslims who may get radicalized by extremist Islamic terror organizations in Pakistan.
My view is that a brave and ethical Pakistan will not harbour terror organizations. Further, it is clear that India of 2019 will NOT tolerate terror from Pakistan and will retaliate against terror strikes in India by Pakistan based terror groups by going after the terror groups in Pakistan. If that is going to lead to war by Pakistan against India, I think the events of the past few days have clearly shown that the Indian government, the Indian armed forces and a large number of Indian civilians are willing to accept such a war with Pakistan.
I am an Indian citizen and resident who is into spirituality & religion and writes about it on social media. I have reverence for peaceful forms of all religions including Islam that respect other peaceful religions. In particular, I revere Shirdi Sai Baba, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sai_Baba_of_Shirdi, who used to frequently say 'Allah Maalik' (Allah/God is the Master/Owner) and had Muslim devotees as well as Hindu devotees (and a few from other religions too). Shirdi Sai Baba taught respect for all (peaceful) religions and that there is only one God even though there are many religions (Sabka Maalik Ek).
I very much prefer peace. I further pray and hope that both Pakistani people and Indian people prosper and lead ethical and happy lives. But if Pakistan based groups continue to launch terror attacks in India, I support the current Indian government policy of going after the terror groups in Pakistan. Terror groups understand only the language of retaliatory violence. And if that leads to India having a war with Pakistan, so be it.
Now I think it is up to Pakistan government led by its PM Imran Khan to decide whether they want to continue Pakistan policy of harbouring terrorist groups that attack its neighbouring countries of Iran, Afghanistan and India, and perhaps even China in future, which may perhaps lead to Pakistan having a war with one or more of its neighbouring countries.
