FDR video showing how he faced and overcame Great Depression challenges, gives hope that world may overcome today's many frightening challenges

I am turning to the history of the US presidency of Franklin D. Roosevelt in a book I am reading, to get some hope for the future given the frightening challenges faced by the world today (environmental damage, climate change, growing intolerance and increasing tribalism including religious tribalism (includes anti-immigrant and anti-particular-religion sentiments), terror attacks and the threat of war (e.g. Indo-Pak tension), human greed that is concerned much more about the individual than the community etc.). I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is a video on FDR on youtube, which has actual video clips of FDR presidency! I have started watching it and it captures very well the huge challenges FDR faced when he became president in 1933.
USA was in the grips of the Great Depression (25% unemployment). People were losing faith in the banking system. In his first days as president, FDR had to tackle this banking system crisis! And the video captures this quite well. Hmm. Perhaps things today are not as bad as it was when FDR become US president.
Here's the video in case others too want to get some hope from one of the greatest presidents of the USA, FDR: A Presidency Revealed, FDR Volume 1, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xW4QqeHGlI, around 1 hr. 30 mins.

After Volume 1 video got over I looked around for Volume 2 in youtube but could not find it. Instead I got this set of videos which seems to be the full set (in 19 parts) for "FDR A Presidency Revealed": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3jWcS6pNxk&index=1&list=PL1251180A758A2CED.
I saw the whole video (as a mix of Volume 1 and above set of videos) and found it to be a very interesting history of FDR which does not hesitate to criticize FDR at times. The video shows FDR as a great world leader who not only made life better for many people in the USA but also contributed significantly to create a more just world order that has helped people of many other countries, including this social media writer who was born in 1962 in independent and democratic India. FDR's support for democracy worldwide and his leadership of USA in WWII to crush the evil and imperialistic Axis powers of Nazi Germany and its ally Japan, I am sure, would have contributed to India achieving its freedom in 1947 and being a democratic country.
I certainly have found hope for the future after watching this very interesting biographical video of FDR.
