Cell phone video of Charlotte, North Carolina, USA police shooting of Keith Scott

Video by Wife of Keith Scott Shows Her Pleas to Police,

The article has a video link to a cell phone video, with transcription of the spoken words as captions, taken by the wife of the person, Mr. Keith Scott, who was sadly shot dead by USA police in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. I think this New York Times article gives a balanced view of the matter. The essential point of contention is whether Scott had a gun in his hand when he was shot dead by the police. That point does not get established by this video. [Here's a youtube video of the same cellphone video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifEXVtCabWQ, 2 min. 12 secs.]
Scott's wife's pleas to the police to not shoot her husband followed by her fury at the police for having shot him is heart-rending. I pray to Almighty God to shower His grace on the family of Mr. Keith Scott and give them the strength to bear this loss. It would not be easy on the police who were involved in this shooting either, especially if they/one of them genuinely thought that Scott would fire a gun at them and so fired at him. So my prayers to God for the police persons involved too.
What is very, very clear from this video though is that, simply as a matter of safety, anybody who lives in the USA, MUST FIRST OBEY orders of police in such incidents, and that he/she should drop anything that could remotely be viewed as a gun or similar violent instrument, that they may have in their hands. All other talk and discussions and logic come next. If the USA police advance towards you in an aggressive way, first drop/put down whatever you have in your hands so that you are not viewed as a threat by them.
Especially if the colour of your skin is black!!! I guess the situation where the colour of the skin is brown may also be somewhat similar to black. I am so sorry that I have to write the two earlier sentences. But that, folks, seems to be the reality on the ground in quite a few parts of the USA today.
