NYT article, Why Rural America Voted for Trump

A thought-provoking article, IMHO. Why Rural America Voted for Trump, http://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/05/opinion/why-rural-america-voted-for-trump.html, Jan. 5th 2017

The article covers vast differences in rural and urban life in the USA, touching upon matters like road conditions (very bad in some parts of rural USA), ambulance services (volunteer-dependent and relatively far away in rural USA), equipment and facilities for the police (rural police have to "go begging"), (good paying) jobs (rural USA is seeing jobs moving to urban USA) and faith in God (rural USA being strong in faith in Christian beliefs).

Rural USA is strongly tilted towards Republicans whereas urban USA is tilted towards Democrats.

Please note that I have a PUBLICLY NEUTRAL informal-student-observer role in these posts that I put up about the USA presidential elections. Of course, as I am an Indian citizen living in India, there is no question of me having voted in these elections.
