Top ten political party winners of Indian General Elections 2019, and so expected to be influential in policy making over next 5 years
Note that the total number of Lok Sabha (Parliament) seats is 543. I do not know why elections were not held for the remaining 1 seat.
The official Election Commission of India website results page was not working (http://results.eci.gov.in/) when I composed this post. But it worked later on and so I modified the post to reflect its data.
So I initially went by NDTV party-wise results page, https://www.ndtv.com/elections/bjp-congress-mahagathbandhan-partywise-results-2019. I later updated this post with Election Commission of India results as shown around 11:15 AM IST on 24th May 2019.

As BJP has a majority in Parliament on its own, and a very comfortable majority along with its NDA allies, one expects this government to do a full term of 5 years, or perhaps slightly lesser than that if BJP chooses to call for early elections towards the end of its (new) term.
So the above political parties and its main leaders are the key influencers and shapers of public policy and/or opposition to government's public policies, from June 2019 till perhaps May 2024.
Shiv Sena and Janata Dal United are part of the NDA and so, in all probability, will be part of the government or be supportive of the government.
YSRC and TRS may, in general, choose not to oppose NDA government.
Congress, DMK, TMC and BSP have opposed BJP and, in all probability, will be the main opposition of NDA government in Parliament.
Don't know what BJD's stance may be.
I hope and pray that all the above top ten political parties and their elected Members of Parliament, whether as part of government or as opposition, or as neutral parties, do their duty in Parliament to serve the people of India and improve the material and emotional well being of Indians.
Please note that I have a PUBLICLY POLITICALLY NEUTRAL role in these social media posts that I put up related to Indian political leaders which may include leaders in government currently and those not in government. I am an Indian citizen and resident of India. I do vote in Indian elections but I keep who I vote for as a private matter. I should also say that I am a beneficiary, a lover and an open supporter of democracy in India.
