CNN's Wolf Blitzer asks all the questions to Reince Priebus about why he resigned as White House Chief of Staff. Priebus maintains a dignified and respectful to president Trump approach and avoids answering sensitive questions.

John Kelly, Asserting Authority, Fires Anthony Scaramucci, https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/31/us/politics/trump-white-house-obamacare-health.html, 31st July 2017.

The reports are that Gen. Kelly put his foot down and asked Scaramucci to either report to him or go! Scaramucci apparently refused to report to Kelly and so was gone with Trump not coming in the way of Scaramucci being forced out.

It seems that president Trump was also upset with the foul language used by Scaramucci in a telephone interview with reporter Ryan Lizza of the New Yorker. [My personal view is that the White House comm. director should use language in keeping with the dignity and stature of the WH, especially in interactions with journalists. A few swear words here and there in private conversations with journalists is one thing, as that is part of real world life. But the foul language used by Scaramucci as reported by Ryan Lizza, and that too against other senior WH aides, was beyond just shocking. I think that it is a good thing that Scaramucci is no longer the WH comm. director. It restores some dignity to office of comm. director of WH.]

So Scaramucci came in; Spicer resigned; Scaramucci attacked Priebus (and Bannon) viciously and publicly, forced Priebus out and then got forced out himself too, all within a matter of days. Hmm. Perhaps this was not all planned as some media report suggests but that's the way it played out. 'Clean slate' seems to be the new buzzword in the WH. And, it must be noted, Bannon continues as a senior WH advisor though he too will report to Kelly, according to media reports.
