Good to see Chelsea Clinton asking USA media to back off from criticizing minor Barron Trump; Melania Trump thanks Chelsea Clinton

I think those USA media outlets that are critical of USA President's family's minor children for stuff like the dress they wear, must be advised to stop doing that. I mean, let the kid enjoy his childhood like any other kid. So long as he is not doing anything harmful to himself or others, I think the USA media should respect Barron Trump's privacy. Note that Barron Trump is eleven years old - not yet a teenager.

The details of the matter are that a media outlet called "Daily Caller" ran a story attacking Barron Trump's dress with the headline, "It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House."

The White House responded by the USA First Lady, Melania Trump's, spokesperson saying, "As with all previous administrations, we ask that the media give Barron his privacy".."He is a minor child and deserves every opportunity to have a private childhood."

Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former USA president Bill Clinton and former USA Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, who was the main competitor to Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, tweeted, "It's high time the media & everyone leave Barron Trump alone & let him have the private childhood he deserves ...", https://twitter.com/ChelseaClinton/status/899783109293617153. The tweet had a link to the Daily caller article: http://amp.dailycaller.com/2017/08/21/its-high-time-barron-trump-starts-dressing-like-hes-in-the-white-house/.

Note that Chelsea Clinton would have faced similar media glare when she was being raised in the White House, as a minor child, when Bill Clinton was president.

USA First Lady Melania Trump thanked Chelsea Clinton for this support. "Thank you @ChelseaClinton - so  important to support all of our children in being themselves!
#StopChildhoodBullying", source: https://twitter.com/FLOTUS/status/900190933274308608

Good to see this bipartisan mom support for minor children in White House to be protected from bullying by some USA media outlets.

I don't think Indian media gets into this sort of stuff, thank God. Hopefully no Indian media outlet decides to take the lead of these USA media outlets who are criticizing Barron Trump's clothes, and does something similar with minor children of Indian political leaders (of course, current PM Narendra Modi does not have any children)! If they do so, I think the watchdogs of Indian media, including the main government body with some statutory powers, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Press_Council_of_India, should swing into action viewing such reporting as abuse of freedom of speech by Indian media, and bring those Indian media outlets into line.

Here is a WaPo article on it:
