USA President Trump says that Secy. of State Tillerson is NOT leaving

The media has been speculating that I fired Rex Tillerson or that he would be leaving soon - FAKE NEWS! He’s not leaving and while we disagree on certain subjects, (I call the final shots) we work well together and America is highly respected again!

Ravi: I think that's a very clear statement from USA President Trump that clears the air. My view is that President Trump will be straight with Secy. Tillerson. If he wants Secy. Tillerson to go, Trump will say so to him rather than plan any leak in the media about plans to remove Tillerson.
Over the past year, a previously unknown Tillerson has earned my respect as a sane top businessman of a mega oil company, who is doing his best as Secy of State which is a very different political job from his previous mega business head job. He came across as sane, smart, knowledgeable about top power equations in the world and balanced. He also was willing to disagree respectfully, at times, with the USA president.
As an Indian citizen living in India, I found Secy. Tillerson to be very articulate in expressing USA's view about its relations with India. So I am happy to know that USA Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, enjoys the confidence of USA President Trump, and will be continuing on as Secy. of State.
