Disturbing to see USA President Trump's tweet to settle scores with his former presidential campaign head and former White House senior advisor, Steve Bannon

"Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book. He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad!", https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/949498795074736129, 5th Jan. 2018

Ravi: Perhaps USA President Trump needs to hit back in such a manner at people who have been very, very viciously critical of him, so as to send the right message to his support base of voters. Perhaps him not being able to file a libel/defamation lawsuit against Michael Wolff and Steve Bannon (and the publisher) due to his position as President, forced him to hit back in this manner.

But it is so disturbing to see the person holding the most powerful office in the world, both from an economy as well as a military perspective, having such a super-cheap and super-nasty public feud with Steve Bannon, his former presidential campaign head (only for the last around 3 months) and former senior White House advisor (Chief Strategist was his official designation).

I do earnestly hope and wish that this sort-of cheap infighting in ***public*** does not happen again in this Trump presidency. Or perhaps one will grow immune to it over time.

Please note that I have a PUBLICLY NEUTRAL informal-student-observer role in these posts that I put up about USA politics. Of course, as I am an Indian citizen living in India, there is no question of me having voted in USA elections.
