New York Times Editorial Board calls tax reform bill passed by USA Senate "A Historic Tax Heist"!

A Historic Tax Heist, by New York Times Editorial Board, https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/02/opinion/editorials/a-historic-tax-heist.html, 2nd Dec. 2017. Heist means robbery and so the NYT Editorial Board is using a very strongly critical term for the tax reform bill in its article title itself.

Its concluding sentences are: "You can expect the lies to become even more brazen as Republicans seek to defend this terrible bill. But no amount of prevarication can change the fact that Congress and Mr. Trump are giving a giant gift to their donors and sticking the rest of the country with the tab."

Please note that I have a PUBLICLY NEUTRAL informal-student-observer role in these posts that I put up about USA politics. Of course, as I am an Indian citizen living in India, there is no question of me having voted in USA elections.
